Take your dog on an adventure in Nieuwpoort

Looking for a fun-filled adventure with your furry friend? Look no further than Nieuwpoort! This coastal destination is the perfect spot for a holiday with your dog. With the beach just a short walk away (only 350m from our hotel), there are plenty of opportunities to explore the sandy dunes together:

  • Take a break and enjoy a refreshing beach walk with your dog. Note that during high season (from 16 June to 15 September), dogs are unfortunately not permitted on the beach. Outside high season your dog must be kept on a leash at all times.
  • For off-leash fun, Nieuwpoort offers a spacious 2,500-square-metre dog pasture, complete with poop tubes and benches, located near the Prince Mauritspark and the Harbor channel. It's the perfect spot for your furry friend to run and play to their heart's content.
  • Natuurpunt offers beautiful guided walks through The IJzermonding nature reserve during the months of July and August. Want to join? Make sure to book in advance.
