1. Cycling along the coast
Cycling in Wenduine is a great way to explore the area. You can plan your own route using the cycling route planner or follow one of the signposted routes through dunes and polder landscapes.
2. Molenaarshuis / Hubertmolen
Discover the story of this restored mill and its miller. At the Molenaarshuis, a VR experience takes you back to Wenduine in the early 20th century, making the visit extra special.
3. Beaufort walking route
This walking route is part of an open-air exhibition featuring contemporary art along the coast. You'll pass impressive artworks in a unique combination of beach, dunes and culture.
4. Spioenkop
The second highest dune (31 metres) on the coast stands a white pavilion with a red roof: the Spioenkop. From here you enjoy a stunning panorama over the polder landscape, the wooded surroundings and the coastal plain.
5. Rotonde van Wenduine
A well-known landmark on the Belgian coast. It forms the heart of Wenduine, connecting the beach, shopping street and sea promenade. A lively spot with seating to relax, as well as space for activities like football and basketball.

Wenduine boasts the longest beach on the Flemish coast 12 kilometres long and up to 80 metres wide, with a traffic-free boulevard. It's an excellent destination in the shoulder seasons too, and the perfect place to enjoy the beach on a breezy day. Be sure to visit Wenduine's charming shopping area, with its cosy terraces, lovely shops and small town square. The area around Wenduine has around 160 hectares of dune forests, and even during the busy summer months it remains an oasis of calm and nature.
