Walking Trails Along the Belgian Coast
From the hotel, enjoy a relaxing walk along the Nieuwpoort promenade, lined with charming cafés and local shops. For nature lovers, the Simli Dunes offer 30 hectares of peaceful trails through a unique landscape of sand, beach grass, and pine trees. Guided walks are available every Sunday morning starting from the hotel—ask for more information at the reception.
Explore the Yser Front Trail, where sea and history meet, or venture into the nearby De Westhoek Nature Reserve near De Panne. There, you can discover the local wildlife and flora in one of the most beautiful natural settings on the Belgian coast.
Cycling Routes from Nieuwpoort
The Nieuwpoort region is a true paradise for cyclists. Thanks to the Knooppunten cycling network, you can easily create custom routes to explore the Belgian coast. Ride safely along dedicated bike paths connecting the main seaside resorts, including De Panne, Koksijde, Middelkerke, Ostend, and even Knokke-Heist.

Bike Rental and Equipment
At Dune Hotel, you can rent both classic and electric bikes directly on-site. We also provide helmets, child seats, and locks to ensure a hassle-free cycling experience.
